FAQ

Asked and answered.

The questions shops actually ask before switching — texting compliance, what the AI really does, how the underwriting reads statements, and what week one looks like.

The platform

What is Lyte?
Lyte is the operating system for MCA brokers: SMS and email blasting, an AI inbox that answers every reply, branded application forms with e-sign, bank statement analysis, lender submissions and pipeline automations — one platform, and every layer of it written in-house. That's why the pieces talk to each other: the AI can quote the statement engine's numbers, and a lender's offer lands on the deal without anyone re-keying it.
What does Lyte replace?
The usual duct-tape stack: a standalone texting tool, a generic CRM, a form builder plus an e-sign vendor, a statement-reading service, and the spreadsheets holding them together. One platform, one bill, one place your team logs into.
Is Lyte just another MCA CRM?
The pipeline and CRM layer are in there, but that's the smallest part. The difference is what's attached to it: our own SMS rails and numbers, the AI that works replies, our own statement engine, and direct lender submissions. A typical MCA CRM gives you the pipeline and asks you to bring your own vendors for the rest.

Texting & compliance

Do MCA brokers need 10DLC registration?
Yes. US carriers require A2P traffic on 10-digit numbers to be registered with a brand and campaign. Unregistered traffic is throttled or silently dropped — no bounce, no error, just a list that goes quiet. Lyte handles brand and campaign registration for you during onboarding.
Will my blasts get carrier-filtered?
Volume itself isn't the problem — unregistered traffic, burned numbers and ignored opt-outs are. Lyte registers your campaigns, spreads traffic across a pool of numbers you own, monitors number health and rotates flagged numbers out, spaces sends, and enforces opt-outs and quiet hours automatically. You also get per-message delivery status, so a filtered message is visible instead of a mystery.
Is texting merchants TCPA compliant?
Text messaging is regulated and you should get your own compliance advice. What a platform can do is make the mechanics automatic — recorded consent, immediate and permanent opt-out handling, quiet-hour windows, and identification in your messages. Lyte enforces these as platform settings rather than policies you hope reps remember.
Do I own my numbers?
Yes. Numbers sit on your account and traffic spreads across the pool. Health is monitored per number, and a flagged one rotates out before it drags your delivery down.

The AI

What does the AI actually do?
It answers every merchant reply in seconds — qualifying monthly revenue, correcting objections, answering questions, and sending the application the moment it captures an email. It chases missing bank statements on a schedule, books callbacks for your reps, announces approvals with the real offer numbers, and reopens conversations when a funded deal is halfway paid down. Day or night, every thread at once.
Does it sound like a bot?
It writes the way your reps text: one or two short sentences, plain language, no scripts and no emoji walls. Rep Brain trains it on your team's real conversations — and on every edit your closers make to its drafts — so it handles leads the way your best rep would, not the way a chatbot template does.
Can my reps take over a conversation?
Any time. Reps watch every thread live, can jump in mid-conversation, and can switch the AI off per conversation. The AI is a teammate working the inbox, not a wall between you and your merchants.

Underwriting & deals

How does the bank statement analysis work?
Drop in the statements — 1 to 12 months, multiple accounts, PDF or CSV — and Lyte reads every page: monthly revenue, withdrawals, average daily balance, negative days, NSF events. It flags tampered PDFs before a lender ever sees them. The engine is ours, built in-house, so statements never leave the platform.
Can it catch stacked positions?
Yes — that's one of the main reasons we built it. Lyte surfaces every active and closed position from the transaction history: payment cadence, estimated balance remaining, and the funding deposit that proves it, linked down to the statement page.
How do lender submissions work?
The whole package — application, statements, analysis — goes out in one send, by direct API where lenders support it and by email where they don't. Offers route back onto the deal automatically: amount, factor, term and payment side by side, instead of scattered across your inbox.

Getting started

How does pricing work?
One plan, nothing held back for a higher tier. No seat maths and no feature matrix — we size one price around your team and your volume, and every workspace runs the same complete platform. Migration is included.
How long does it take to get set up?
Days, not months. We import your leads, contacts and templates, provision your numbers, register your 10DLC brand and campaign, and train your team — most shops are texting within days.
Is there a white-label option?
Yes. The application forms run on your brand and your domain, the platform can be white-labeled, and role-based permissions control what each seat sees.
Is my data secure?
SOC 2 Type II, bank-grade encryption, and multi-tenant isolation — each workspace's data lives apart from every other's. Statements are read by our own engine rather than being shipped to a third-party OCR vendor.
